How does the Monta integration work?

Optiply connects to Monta WMS through REST API credentials. Monta data syncs to Optiply automatically, and purchase orders go from Optiply to Monta.

Which Monta data does Optiply use?

The full flow covers products, suppliers, supplier products, sales orders, purchase orders and receipt lines. The simple flow covers only purchase orders and receipt lines.

How do I connect Monta to Optiply?

Create a REST API user in Montaportal (Main, Connect, REST API), then enter the generated username and password in Optiply under Settings, Data management, Integrations.

How long does it take to connect Monta to Optiply?

There's no fixed setup time for connecting Monta to Optiply, because it depends on the setup and data. Connecting the account and the first data import are separate steps: you create a REST API user in Montaportal, and after that Monta data syncs automatically. Optiply Support can confirm the timeline for the setup.

Can I send purchase orders from Optiply to Monta?

Yes. Purchase orders and their lines are sent from Optiply to Monta automatically.

Does Optiply replace Monta's purchasing module?

No. Monta WMS runs the warehouse. Optiply adds forecasting and purchasing automation on top.
